578. But mightn’t a higher authority assure me that I don’t know the truth? So that I had to say “Teach me!” But then my eyes would have to be opened.



the only authority –

is authorship

beyond that –

any claim to ‘authority’ –

is false –

I pity the poor bastard –

who bows before

the deception –

of ‘higher authority’ –

and says –

‘teach me’

if your ‘eyes are open’ –

you think –

for yourself
