391. Imagine a language game “When I call you, come in through the door”. In any ordinary  case, a  doubt whether there really is a door will be impossible.

fair enough to assume –

there is a door

nevertheless an assumption –

and like any assumption –

uncertain –

open to contingencies –

open to question –

open to doubt
