31. The propositions which one comes back to again and again as if bewitched – these I should like to expunge from philosophical language.



all propositions are a response to the unknown –

it is not propositions per se that we come back to time and again –

but the object of these propositions –

the unknown –

and it cannot be anything but –

bewitching
