213. Our ‘empirical propositions’ do not form a homogeneous mass.



propositions defined as ‘empirical’ –

will by definition be of the same kind

the question is –

just how useful is any such definition?

perhaps it gives someone –

a sense of order –

where in reality –

there is none

the definition of any proposition –

will be a description of its use –

and any such description –

will be open to question –

open to doubt
