53. So one might grant that Moore was right, if he is interpreted like this: a proposition saying that there is a physical object may have the same logical status as one saying there is a red patch.



the value of a proposition –

will be determined by the context of its use –

which is to say –

its value is uncertain –

and yes – in that respect every proposition –

has the same logical status –

Moore however argued for certainty –

not uncertainty
